Background of Jana Adarsha Multiple Campus

Jana Adarsha Multiple Campus (JAMC) was established in 2053 B.S. (1994 A.D.) through the collective efforts of local intellectuals, social workers, education activists, and representatives of the then local government. Situated in the eastern part of Chitwan district, the campus was founded in an area predominantly inhabited by relatively low-income farmers. Since its inception, JAMC has been committed to providing quality education to the public, with a focus on serving the educationally disadvantaged communities.

The campus operates with the motto "For the community, by the community, to the community," and has been a significant contributor to the educational and social development of the region for over 28 years. JAMC started with a single program, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), affiliated with Tribhuvan University. Over the years, the institution expanded its academic offerings, with the university granting approval for a three-year Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) program in 2059 B.S., followed by the Master of Business Studies (MBS) program in 2071 B.S.

Jana Adarsha Multiple Campus continues to provide affordable and quality education, aiming to make higher education accessible to the local community. With its emphasis on academic excellence, JAMC strives to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for personal and professional growth, while also fostering social harmony and sustainable development in the surrounding areas.
